Friday Night Youth is open to anyone in school years 7–13.
We meet every Friday during term time at St John’s Church Hall, 6:30–8:30pm.
Come and get stuck in with games, table tennis, table football, cooking, crafts, or simply relax and hang out. Whether you come on your own or bring a friend, you’ll find a warm welcome and a great space to unwind at the end of the week.
Here you can explore faith, build friendships, and enjoy a space that’s genuinely yours. We also run some fantastic socials throughout the year — think Nerf battles, Clip ’n Climb, water fights, crazy golf and plenty more.

Do you have a heart for young people and a passion to share the love of Jesus and see young people grow in faith?
St John’s is looking for an energetic, creative Youth Minister to help reach, inspire and disciple 11-18 year olds in our church, schools and community.
St John’s is a welcoming, spirit filled charismatic C of E church where young people sit at the heart of our vision. We believe God is doing something new here and we are looking for someone to join our team to help grow, shape and lead youth ministry. Could it be you? If successful you will build real relationships in school, community and church and lead and inspire a brilliant team of volunteers. You will develop creative missional youth work that helps young people explore faith and grow as disciples and you will bring vision, energy and innovation to our Sunday and mid-week youth ministry.
We are looking for a committed, prayerful Christian with a big heart for young people, a clear understanding of today’s culture and the passion to make a lasting difference. If you are energetic, relational and called to step into a new role with real and significant purpose – we’d love to hear from you!
• Full-time
• Salary £30,000 to £35,000
• Possible housing / relocation allowance
