Prayer
Prayer is at the heart of all we do at St John’s. We are convinced that as we pray God changes things, shapes our town, our church, our lives – and the lives of others. For this reason , we ,gather regularly to pray and to seek God’s kingdom on earth as in heaven.
Each week, we host Tuesday evening (7:30pm-8:30pm) and Thursday morning (9:30am-10:30am) prayer meetings to pray for our church, town and nation – as well as before each service.
We organise and host various weeks of prayer and prayer events including Thy Kingdom Come (from Ascension Day to Pentecost).
If you would like us to pray for you or with you, we offer personal prayer ministry at most services. For serious urgent confidential prayers for church members and their families, please telephone Liz Grant or Dave Guard.
