Alpha is a series that explores the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, welcoming and open environment.
If you have ever found yourself wondering about the bigger questions in life – why am I here? What’s the point in life? Can there really be a God out there?… then Alpha is the perfect place to look for some answers.
St John’s runs regular Alpha courses, usually one evening a week for 8 weeks. It’s low key, friendly and fun and there’s no cost. The sessions are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of Christian faith. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you want. If you decide the course isn’t for you, that’s not a problem. No pressure, no charge, no follow-up.
