The Green Team are organising an all-day Cherish the Earth Conference on Saturday the 21st of March, with external speakers and workshops. The main talks will be in Church in the morning, and the afternoon will be workshops either in church, the hall, Old Vic. We have external speakers from the John Ray Initiative (https://jri.org.uk/) and the intention is to make it open to the wider community, rather than be a “church” event.
The outline agenda has talks in Church from 9.30am through to lunchtime at 12pm, then workshops, and a panel / Q&A session at the end from 3.15pm-4pm.
We will need people to help with set up, welcoming the workshop leaders and facilitating their set up, hosting each venue and accompanying and directing people to the different venues. If you are able to help in any capacity, for all or part of the day, please let me know.
It looks like being an exciting and informative day (and will help towards gaining our Silver Eco Award!)
