Christian Aid Week is rapidly approaching and, as in recent years, we are hoping to deliver Christian Aid envelopes to streets around the town. We will therefore be looking for willing volunteers to help
In line with the last few years, it will be on a “delivery only” basis (so no need to be knocking on doors!), with the envelopes containing a note of where to hand them in (either St Mary’s House or St John’s Old Vicarage) and details of how to donate online
If you are able to help, either individually, or perhaps as a Life Group please would you let Alan Weller know – and remember, the more willing volunteers we have, the fewer streets any one person will need to cover! Nearer the time, Alan will have a list of the streets allocated to St John’s
Do not be surprised, or offended, if you get a “tap on the shoulder” from Alan over the next couple of weeks – you will have been specially chosen!
